The Canada/Nova Scotia COOPERATION Agreement on Economic Diversification is an integral part of the
federal and provincial governments' long-term plan for Nova Scotia's future. It encourages success
through partnerships of business, non-profit associations and industry groups in significant projects
intended to diversify and improve the economy.
The major Agreement partners are the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation (ECBC) for the federal government and Nova Scotia Economic Development and the Department of Finance for the provincial government.
